Chocolate Chip Cookies
4 cups salted butter, softened
3 cups brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1-1/4 cup vanilla pudding, dry from the box
8 eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
9 cups all purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
8 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
(You can easily half this recipe, but why? Just make the recipe as is. Scoop them onto a cookie sheet. Flatten them slightly. Cover with wax or parchment paper and place in the freezer. Once they are frozen, pop them off the pan, store in a gallon zip lock baggie or food safe container in the freezer. Bake them from frozen. Preheat oven to 375 and bake for 15-17 minutes.)
Baking directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Using a disher or cookie scoop, scoop even amounts of cookie dough into mounds on a cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Place in the oven and bake for 15-17 minutes. Cookies will be soft in the middle. Allow them to cool slightly on the pan while you prepare the next sheet pan for the refrigerator. Repeat these steps until all the cookies are baked.
Enjoy!
